We're celebrating the arrival of Summer and all the good things that come with it! On Saturday, 16 December 2023, from 10h00 to 18h00, we invite young and old to join us for a day of family fun on the lawn (or the stoep).
Pre-booked and paid picnic bags for 2 or 4 people will be available, offering a delicious selection of antipasti-style things, from baguettes to cheese rounds, olives and cured meats - a gourmet experience perfect for sharing.
Other delectable options include authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas, beautiful oysters (with lots of Madame Lucy's MCC!), and more. For kids, we'll have a little "bag on a stick" filled with good things to eat and a little surprise.
Upon arrival, guests can taste some new wine releases, a couple of older vintages from the vinotheque, or simply fill their glass with their favourite Gabriëlskloof wine and find a spot on the stoep or lawn, collect their picnic bag and chill!
There will be entertaining performances by the Botrivier Marimba kids and the Botrivier Youth's Hip Hop groups, a special treasure hunt, "fishing" in our ponds, face painting and a jumping castle - so lots of things to keep kids busy and happy!
