The Landscape Series was borne from a desire to marry the best of our vineyard sites with some of South Africa’s old vine treasures. These are our premium wines.
This range allows us the freedom to do things a little differently, where we embrace risk and push the envelope in terms of both winemaking and ageing.
We favour minimal intervention, only taking action where absolutely necessary. We believe this best reflects and expresses the terroir of the fantastic vineyards we work with. Our use of new oak is also kept to a minimum; when called for, we use only the lightest toast and finest grain French oak.
Gabriëlskloof Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of first-press oils from five different varieties that are grown, extracted, blended and bottled on our farm.
Planted on the farm’s sunniest slopes, the selection of Coratina, Frantoio, Leccino and two hybrid varieties (FS17 and CV177) benefit from ideal Mediterranean conditions, delivering flavour-intense fruit year on year.
