Garden Party 2023 : Picnics

We're celebrating the arrival of Summer and all the good things that come with it! On Saturday, 16 December 2023, from 10h00 to 18h00, we invite young and old (and furry) to join us for a day of family fun on the lawn.

Entrance to our Garden Party is free - you do not need to book a ticket!

On this page, you can book and pay for a picnic box for two adults, offering a delicious selection of antipasti-style things, from baguettes to local cheeses, cured meats and dips - a gourmet experience perfect for sharing. You can also book and pay for the kids' version - a little picnic bag on a stick filled with a selection of things for little palates to graze on, something to drink, and a small surprise. 

Of course, other food options will be available on the day that does not need to be pre-booked - incredible pizzas, beautiful oysters (with lots of Madame Lucy's MCC!), and more. 

Upon arrival, guests can taste some new wine releases, a couple of older vintages from the vinotheque, or simply fill their glass with their favourite Gabriëlskloof wine and find a spot on the stoep or lawn, collect their picnic box and chill! There will be entertaining performances by the Botrivier Marimba kids and the Botrivier Youth's Hip Hop groups, a special treasure hunt, "fishing" in our ponds, face painting and a jumping castle - so lots of things to keep kids busy and happy!
